1 Verse: (A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
If you will look at this chapter with me we can see some pretty good stuff within.
1st Verse: The LORD is MY Shepherd, I shall not want. Ok, This means just what it says (THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD) he IS my Shepherd. just for edification this means that HE is whoever reads this chapter HE is THERE Shepherd. See how this goes?? If I have no wants then I can't have any needs.
2nd Verse: He has me Relax in the tall beautiful grass then HE takes me for a fantastic and peaceful walk beside the still waters.
3rd Verse: HE restores my soul and leads me in paths of righteousness, Just because HE loves me
4th Verse: When anything disturbs me or gets in my way with HIM, I will have NO FEAR of evil: because HE is ALWAYS with me and HIS rod and Staff will comfort me.
5th Verse: He prepares a table a table for me in my enemies presence, He Anoints my head with oil; and my cup runs over.
6th Verse I HONESTLY BELIEVE that goodness and mercy will be with me all the days of my life: and I WILL dwell in the LORDS HOUSE FOREVER.
